Our ISP is to develop a system to automate attendace in classrooms aorund the world. Currently taking attendance is a tedious problem for teachers. Teachers are forced to take attendance multiple times throughout the day for different classes which makes this part of the attendace processs a likely point of error. This form of taking attendance is also a time waste for both the students and teachers. Our system is projected to solve both of these problems as it uses a camera with artificial intelegence to detect the faces of different students to take attendence. This will make it attendence accurate as it would no longer be suceptable to human error, and it would save time by taking attendence as the studetns walk into the classroom so teaching can begin immediatley. Saving about 5 minuets at the start of every class may seem unsignificant, but if you add up all the time from the multiple class periods everyday for the school year it will save a large amount of time that will allow for more time to relax or study for students and plan classes for teachers.
